CapCut PC template shows one static frame: check compatibility first
A mobile template can appear in CapCut desktop without all its parts working. Check the original and a short export before replacing anything.
If a mobile template opens on desktop as one image, open the original mobile project first. If its animation still works there, the desktop copy may not support all of the template's components. Keep the working original and check a short desktop export before using that copy for delivery.

Check the template on the platform where it worked
A static preview does not guarantee either a good or a bad export. Do not delete the mobile project or replace every placeholder to find out.
Why the answer depends on the template
CapCut's single-frame help page describes limitations with mobile templates on desktop. Its PC-template guide also describes a desktop workflow, while noting that some templates remain mobile-only.
The useful distinction is whether this template works in your desktop version. A project appearing in both apps does not mean all its parts will remain editable.

Finish on the working platform if necessary
If the mobile version produces the result you need, finish the template there and export a separate video for desktop editing. Check the motion, text, and audio in that file. You can edit the rendered video further, but it will not preserve the template's individually editable components.
Keep the original project as well as the video. If the desktop result differs, contact support through the PC-template guide with the template link and both app versions. Specify whether the problem affects the preview, the export, or both.
